About Mandela Mattresses

I didn't start Mandela Mattresses because it was easy.
I started it because I had no choice.

In 2015, I had just become a father. Nothing was working, and I needed a way to provide. But one thing I did have was knowledge — real, practical knowledge about mattresses and households. It's what I grew up around. My father had a mattress shop, and over the years, I learned what most sellers don't: what actually makes a good mattress, and what people truly need.

At the same time, I saw a gap.

Mattresses were hard to access. Most sellers didn't deliver. Prices were high. And customers were often left guessing what they were buying.

So I decided to do things differently.

I built Mandela Mattresses around three simple things: honesty, accessibility, and real customer care.

How We Grew

As the business grew, so did our customers' needs. Many of them started asking us where they could get beds, sofas, and other home items they could trust. That led us into furniture making — starting with beds and sofas — so we could give our customers complete bedroom solutions.

From there, we expanded even further. Today, we also offer electronics, household items, kitchenware, and home appliances — all because our customers kept asking, and we listened. What started as a mattress business has now grown into a full home store where you can find everything you need in one place.

Over the years, our client base has continued to grow, and for that, we are truly grateful. We thank God every day for the journey, the lessons, and the trust our customers continue to place in us.
